I am officially on holiday. So, after a skype conference to work !, I decided to attack what was a 'jungle' of a garden. The weather was hot, sunny and humid. You can actually see the pond now; it was nearly totally overgrown with reeds and grass. The trick will be actually keeping it this way. This depends on the great British weather of course, and it has been rewarding to take advantage of the nice weather recently.

Perhaps more digging and cutting tomorrow. It is very enjoyable really - perhaps a new career beckons as a gardener. It might even be in the genes, looking at an ancient photo of my grandfather.
