Sunset's shadows beyond Cam Long Down

Following a visit to Randwick Ash and the adjacent woods the sun's setting gave me this unusual view of the shadowy land in the Vale out of the sun's rays between the Cotswold escarpment and Cam Long Down. I was testing the old telephoto on the new camera using the EF to RF  mount adapter. It seems to work.
