Stepping stones

Tricia's coven met at Prah Sands today and so I headed off with Ruadh for a walk on the outskirts of Helston - as well as visiting the excellent butcher's shop there coming away with some goat.
Following the river Cober downstream was pretty and these stepping stones were a highlight although I am not sure Ruadh was convinced.
I wondered about the name of the river and a possibility is that it comes from the Cornish 'cough-ar' translating as 'red one' - not a surprise as most rivers in Cornwall tend to be called Red River on account of the minerals contained in them.
