Corrupted catalog

Having a bit of a photo nightmare this evening - my Photoshop Elements catalog seems to have disintegrated in the last 48 hours. I have back-ups and all the photos are safe so just trying to get PE up and running again ... Not overly optimistic knowing how clunky its back-up/catalog features are.
