Music Live at Lunch
The day started chilly but sunny, but unfortunately more clouds moved in later, though there were still sunny intervals, and late afternoon there was some more clearing. This morning I was at knitting ministry, the first time I had made it since the summer break - we just meet once a month. We had some good knitting and fellowship time together, and prayed over and blessed quite a number of shawls, baby hats and children’s hats. Then it was back home, but straight out again, this time with Roger, to go down to Music Live at Lunch at Christ Church Cathedral downtown. This week it was in the main sanctuary, rather than the smaller upper chapel, since the program was two students from Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, one of the top music conservatories in the country, one playing harpsichord, and one the organ. The one playing the harpsichord was from The Ukraine, and was wearing a beautiful knitted sweater, I assume from his homeland. The music was great and we enjoyed the lunch too, they had it catered by Panera today - usually they do it themselves. We had thought of walking along the Ohio River afterwards, but since the sun had disappeared at this, point and it felt a bit cold, we headed home instead. We had a coffee and had a good chat with Roger’s Dad, by which time the skies had cleared again so we drove over to Sharon Woods for a walk.
