Bess of Hardwick

I drove up to Nottinghamshire to visit my friend Sîan this morning, after a cup of tea and a catch up she took me to Welbeck for lunch and a wander round the Harley museum https://harleyfoundation.org.uk/visit/harley-museum/
, the gift shop and the farm shop. 
There were some fascinating exhibits and  portraits, I picked Bess of Hardwick as she had an interesting life
There was quite a lot of information about the 5th Duke of Portland who lived at Welbeck Abbey and was quite an eccentric chap!
