I had to get myself to Glasgow this morning. I’ve not had to do that for years. I caught the bus into Edinburgh, then the train from Waverley. I did some work in the trainand I was in Glasgow around 09:10. I walked to our Glasgow office, then struggled to get into the building. There was no big drama though (unlike in the building where I normally work. They tested my pass and let me in.

I found the office that had been booked for me, got myself organised, and got straight to work. I was in Glasgow for an in person meeting, which happened late morning. I made my way back to Edinburgh early in the afternoon, and worked there for the rest of the day. I ended up working late, so much better to be no Edinburgh than in Glasgow.

I eventually made it home, then after I had eaten I had to finish something off for work. Grrrr!!

I spotted this sign from a different era in Glasgow city centre. The company was established in 1920.
