Simple sometimes is best (TT494)

Some days it pays to keep things simple and not to rely on technology too heavily?
A tiny compass which lives in the top pocket of my rucksack.
Almost a good luck charm - most people I know who keep a compass and a paper map handy tend not to get lost!

Caveat Emptor: you do have to know how to use them :-)
