A major fire started in a takeaway on Northgate Street in the early hours of this morning. The crews were still in attendance when I took this photograph at 4pm. An acrid smell in the air.

No one injured but several people are now without a home and probably lost everything. Very sad.

I spent this morning with Carol. Lots to talk about.
