Like yesterday

For the last few days we have had some of our Australian friends staying with us. We met them when we lived in Oman and haven't seen them for three years but it was just like we'd seen them yesterday. We have reminisced, laughed, caught up on the latest omani gossip and really enjoyed being in each other's company.
We took them on a walking tour of Brussels yesterday, enjoyed traditional belgian food, took photos and chatted. They seemed to really like Brussels.
Today we went for a walk in our local park so they could enjoy the shelter of trees and greenery (they still live in Oman) and had a lovely brunch before taking them to the train station for the next leg of their European summer tour.
We miss them already but they have promised to return!
