Aspects of Funchal

It was quieter today. Only two cruise ships around.

You can see from my blip that they are making good headway with the redesign of the new Marina. I took this shot from the Santa Catarina garden, as I walked into town.

So much to see, ranging from the Giant Dutchman’s Pipe plant in the gardens of the Savoy Palace, Lucky, the President’s dog who was looking bored, to the embroiderer with her machine, in the Main Street…..

I love a day when you can potter (between swims) with the prospect of a lovely dinner with good friends……
