Had the sprocket, pedals, shift cable and brake pads replaced for the bike swapped by Gramps by this bike mechanic. In line for future replacement is the bike's bottom bracket and speed shifter. 
Although I  still have not memorized all the bike parts, after four trips to the bike shop within the day, my cycling vocabulary has definitely expanded even by just one percent.
