Moss pods

Went to the welcome meeting this morning and then a talk on historic buildings of Anglesey, which I had difficulty concentrating on! Bridges, windmills, churches and lighthouses figured prominently!

Walked down to Beaumaris to buy some fresh food and noticed these small mounds of moss which were glowing in the sun! The sun then went in!

Picked up some food and did some bimbling around the shops and had a coffee and cake in a tea shop! Then walked back and up the hill! 11,500 steps and just shy of 5 miles! The short way to Beaumaris is closed due to being resurfaced but it was good to go the long way by the coast road. Tide was out going in and was on its way in going back!

Sat down and watched Pointless and then my brother arrived to stay for at least one night which is a treat! He didn’t like the look of my bolognaise sauce so he just had the lemon farfalle with butter and had a salad with some hummus and ate the some of the rye bread that I had bought! He is a better cook than I am I suspect!
