My father-in-law was in the Army Air Force during WWII. He was stationed in England at Snetterton and flew 25 missions as a radio operator over Germany. Not many survived but he was one of the lucky ones. “Pop” is holding the wreath as you view it on the right. He and my mother-in- law went over to England for a dedication ceremony sometime in the 80s.
