REMEMBRANCE

Mr HB in 1942.  A much loved son of a proud mother and father.  Sadly that was the last time Mr HB’s father saw his son as after returning to his regiment, the Coldstream Guards, and back in active service he was killed 2 years later in Italy whilst fighting in the ‘Monte Cassino’ Campaign.    Mr HB has no remembrance of his Father apart from precious photographs.

It’s always a sad time of year for Mr HB but he digs deep and his natural acceptance of his lot and joy in his own family prevails.
