Return of the grey squirrels

Oh dear! Bad news this morning. The first thing I see when I draw the curtains back is this grey squirrel (see extra). It must be at least a year since we last saw a grey in the garden.
We are on the boundary between grey and red squirrels in central Scotland and there is a strong conservation push led by Scottish Wildlife Trust in recent years to eradicate them.
They are a non -native species imported from North America , and they carry a virus which infects and kills the native red squirrels.
We thought our area was clear. Not so.
