Friends picked us up this morning as we were all going to Stowe to see the Standing With Giants exhibition. 

It was a wonderful but oh so tragically sad thing to see. It was the last day and is now going off to Normandy I believe before returning to the UK to be shown at different National Trust properties.

After Stowe we went up the road to Silverstone to visit the Porsche Experience Centre. Our friend Paul was able to get us inside to see what goes on there. He is one of their team of Driving Consultants who take people around their circuit and gives tuition on driving the Porsche models.

Very, very interesting, even to me a non ‘petrolhead’. Certainly a great deal of money is tied up in cars these days!!!
