A day of many parts

A full day, from start to finish. I had all morning photographing the first half of Nate's school, the 3 year olds up to the 6/7 years old. Tomorrow I do the 7s up to the 12s, plus each class group. Some kids knew exactly how to pose, others insisted on sticking their tongues out, some were overwhelmed... One boy put both middle fingers up with a huge grin on his face, ha! Needless to say, we needed a few takes of him!
Straight from school we had team meeting, then straight into a big 24-7 Prayer zoom with other missional communities. Then shopping, cooking dinner, cutting Nate's hair and finally watching Adrian's inauguration service for his new role as vicar of a church in Northern Ireland. Gemma stayed from team meeting through til after the zoom for Adrian. We took the bottom left selfie to send to him, joking we'd all got our celebratory drinks ready.
It's poured down all day - there's a severe weather warning out for tomorrow - schools are on standby to potentially be shut.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The photos going well so far and my camera working! Plus one of the mom's being a brilliant assistant, helping me with the kids.
2) Danny having some great ideas for this weekend's prayer room.
3) Being able to watch Adrian's special service.
