I was up drinking my big mug of coffee in the dark before 5. By the time the sun was to appear over the Gila Mountains I'd thought better of it and rolled back into bed. I woke just after 10 with a yearning for lemonade. 

I drove off down the south frontage road to view the metal sculptures that I find so intriguing. Two at the roadside were perfect for this Veterans' Day. I had a chat with the shop owner, a senior and a veteran himself. He explained who makes the metal sculptures for him. They come from Mexico.

I will be having another slugfest today. I have no plans to be useful or industrious. I will occupy my recliner with my feet up sipping lemonade.
