Blue skies at last!
Firstly, thank you to everyone who commented on my lynxes and gave me hearts. I am trying to catch up but it has been a bit busy today, as is always the case when one returns from being away.
I was delighted that we finally had sunshine and blue skies today, and while this is not the best shot I took today, it is a record of the blue skies after weeks of grey days.
I have so many photos to edit from my lynx workshop, I only had time to edit one or two a day to upload to blip. Today I went through my photos and decided which ones to cull, no point in cluttering up my hard drive with similar photos. I am pleased with the photos I managed to get, and I feel positive about the trip despite the poor accommodation. The kitchen was so badly equipped with no kettle and only one pot, so we could not boil water on the cooker if the pot was being used to cook supper! It really does not cost much to buy small things like a kettle to make the house more comfortable. The entire house was very basically furnished, yet the hide had under floor heating and air conditioning for the summer!
I enjoyed my walk with Xena today, as all that sitting around in the hide and when travelling has caused my back to be quite painful again, as I expected. I have to keep moving and exercising to keep my back comfortable!
Tonight I have camera club and it is another print competition, it's the annual '3 of a kind' and I was considering not entering as I don't really like this completion but then decided I might as well....so I need to get supper ready before I go.
