An unusual Mallard

This female Mallard calls Maxwell Park pond home. Her lady friends are all dark brown so she definitely stands out in the crowd.

A fine, sunny morning and it even felt quite warm when I went out to deliver a birthday present.

This afternoon I have been slogging away at parts of Bach's Christmas Oratorio. Usually I get to enjoy a piece of music the more I practise it but not this time. Fortunately we are also singing Bach's Magnificent which, although quite difficult, I do enjoy.
