The MSY Wind Surf makes for a magnificent sight as she departs Western Harbour, bound for Norway through the haar. Her departure was an echo of the past when sailing ships were far more common a sight at Leith Docks; last night the lights on her rigging could be seen half-a-mile away, glowing like a string of luminous pearls above the rooftops at the back of our street.
