Euroceilidh

A busy day!

Supermarket shopping in the morning with MrM. Plus a quick trip to a farm shop for the one item that wasn't available at the supermarket. Home to unpack the shopping, have a quick bite to eat, tackle a couple of chores, and get changed.

Then a walk into Holmfirth to sing with the Soul Choir for the first time, at a community event. Great fun, and there was an appreciative audience. Afterwards walked back up the hill with Judith, who's also in the choir, and Phil. Meanwhile, MrM left to play at a ceilidh some distance away.

Another change of clothes before June gave me a lift back into Holmfirth for a Euroceilidh, where we met up with several more friends. I helped on the door for a while at the start. There were two bands that played two sets each - one for mostly French dances, and Scintilla for more conventional ceilidh dances. Two callers as well, Anita and Dominic, both very good.
An excellent evening - lots of dancing as well as catching up with long-time friends!

Shattered!
