Remembrance Sunday

Today, 10 November, is Remembrance Sunday. We couldn't attend the various ceremonies as S-R was here but managed to watch the ceremony in London on TV.  Later the family came for dinner and V stayed the night, ready for school tomorrow.
I wasn't able to photograph any poppies today, but here is a rose, still bravely flowering in the front garden, with a suitably dark and sombre background.
