Rememberance Sunday

I went into town to attend the Remberance ceremony at the war memorial. There were some people, but no ceremony. I waited until 11.15 then went home. In the evening I went to the Remberance concert at the church. The Town Band performed a range of music with a military/war theme (programme in extras), starting with music normally played at Remembrance Services, then some very evocative music from well known films. Towards the end they played, and the audience sang The White Cliffs of Dover. An enjoyable evening.
