Manchester remembers

Lots of steps clocked up on our exploration of the city today, starting with the service at the cenotaph. I am loving the mix of old and modern, and the way historic industrial buildings have been repurposed for contemporary use. The rail and tram network and related architecture is pretty cool too!

My blip is a beautiful poppy projection on the ceiling(?) of the Printworks complex (another fabulous reuse of a huge old building). After this we headed back to our hotel and enjoyed a cocktail and delicious dinner.
