Success!

Finally, after over a week, the guys who are professional beaver trackers, caught them!  apparently there were 2, most likely a male and female, this is the smaller one, probably the female.  a bit sad to see such an amazing beast - but they are so destructive!!!   Terry is over the moon.....he's been dealing with these critters for about 3 months or more...so finally we might get some peace and quiet back to the ponds.

Spent a few hours painting, very satisfying....and now dinner is ready and we are have a little gathering to celebrate Mary Jane's birthday, just Patrizia, Linus and Mary jane.   we'll miss the other part of our usual gatherings...Jane....
