Change of Scene

So the weekend hasn’t gone exactly to plan.
Son and girlfriend were due to arrive on Friday for the weekend, however had a significant difference of opinion half way to us and (long story very short) decided it was time to call it a day.
She went home the same night. Greg stayed with us Friday and Saturday and then this morning we travelled down south to get him set up on his own.
I am staying with him for the week in an Airbnb in St Neots, we’ve been and got the essentials from his girlfriends house and tomorrow we hit the rental market with a view to getting him in his own place as quickly as possible.
So no seaside views for a few days at least!
The blip today is a very hurried shot from the front door before we went out again.
Two highlights from the day. When we went into the motorway services for a comfort break, all the staff were standing still outside their respective stations, and all the other visitors were standing quietly. I was wondering what was going on then realised it was the 2 minute silence at 11 o’clock. It was very moving to take part.
Second highlight, my planned video chat this week with my blip bestie will now be an in person blip meet.  :-)
