interweaving
I had a few things to do in town, but wanted to fit in a short walk afterwards. It was, as we say up here, a pretty dreich day, so where bettter to go than a peat bog? That’s Kirkconnel Flow reserve, on the way to New Abbey, where peatland restoration is taking place to preserve this important habitat - www.nature.scot/enjoying-outdoors/visit-our-nature-reserves/kirkconnell-flow-nature-reserve
Jess and I had another walk later on and she went swimming. Now I am trying to finish my second Isleburgh Toorie - this one’s for Sarah.
