Hotel du Portugal

The hotel is shut now for the winter. It was bought by the military to provide rest and relaxation for their personnel. It is a fine Belle Epoque building although this means that it has not been modernised with all the mod cons of a luxury hotel. Today, I took the Remembrance service I had planned and it seemed to be well received. I played some tennis in the afternoon and organised the games I have to play in the next couple of weeks in the departmental completion.
