Day at Home

And glad of it. Before Eric left at 1:00, for a gig and later a dress rehearsal, we did a few odd jobs like installing a new doorstop for the screen door and standing around staring at and puzzled by the sudden wilting of part of his treasured hibiscus; it remains a puzzle. 
After he left, I cleaned out some drawers, did some laundry, had a very nice call from my cousin Diane where we did not talk at all about anything but family, aging, and fond childhood memories. Then I ended the day by cutting my hair and soaking in the bathtub. Ahhhhhhh . . .
