Daisy Sunday
In the aftermath of the party, I was up early to make the most of the morning; other partygoers emerged later, but everyone was in pretty good spirits and not too jaded from the night before. We breakfasted on croissants and cheeses with mugs of tea. The troops decided to head out to the shops in the early afternoon, which I managed to dodge—my thoughts on shopping are well-known to the rest of my clan. Monty has to catch his train back to Loughborough around five, but I think we’re all aiming for a very mellow evening apart from that. We spotted Daisy being particularly cute, snuggled up in a beanbag in the lounge. The intense window light with the contrasty textures of the fabric lent themselves well to monochrome.
