Tranquillity

With the weather we've had over the past 2 - 3 weeks, many would describe it as dull. Indeed, today I walked past a couple of ladies who asked "what are you photographing ... the autumn colours"?   I replied yes, and their response was "all you need is some sun".

As a landscape photographer we can't influence the lighting - we simply have to work with what is there. I personally love this quality of light, it has a softness and gentle nature that brash sunlight simply can't equal. 

A wonderfully quiet morning - the two ladies were the only people I saw in almost 2 hours by the lake.
