The Four Elements

Fireworks in the sky. I decided to brave the crowds to watch the Tenjin Matsuri from the Tenmabashi Bridge this evening after seeing (and blipping) the prelude in Tenjimbashi yesterday. To be honest, it wasn't as spectacular as I had expected. In this photograph you can see a boat full of revellers approaching the bridge. You can also see the fires which line the river. In my blipfolio photo you can see a boat approaching the opposite side of the bridge with a small fireworks display proceeding in the background.
