Sunflower Field

On Monday my sister, niece and I went to IKEA in Burlington (a necessary trip for this now Nova Scotian). On the way we eyed a massive field of sunflowers at the side of the highway and decided to revisit yesterday.

My niece is quickly becoming a photography aficionado and so she wanted to try some different effects on her Nikon CoolPix P510 that the WTN/AJ and I gave her last Xmas.

We had so much fun that we spent the hour on either side of sunset at the decommissioned Guelph Correctional Centre, but sadly I can only post one of the pics...
