Sun, clouds, wind, rain, snow, graupel...
One of those days, if you didn't like the weather, wait 5 minutes or drive 5 miles down the road.
I had thought about going to Bridgewater to have lunch at the one and only Arby's in Nova Scotia. First I had to meet Stephanie, someone she met had asked her to prune some trees and she wanted some advice. The customer said that the 2 trees in his front yard were flowering crabapples and they held their leaves till December. I told Stephanie when she showed me the photos that they could not be crabapples. So I went over to look at them with her, and they are an ornamental pear tree. While we were there, there was some light snow in the area.
I decided to take a drive around the Aspotogan Peninsula and that would take me as far as Chester. I stopped at Bayswater Beach for a short walk. It was windy and some of the sand was blowing in the air, so I didn't stay long, didn't want to take the chance of getting sand in the camera. The photo was taken at Bayswater.
I continued on to Chester, then on the way home there was off and on snow squalls. I stopped at Walmart to pick up a few things, when I pulled into the parking lot there was graupel coming down, and it even accumulated on the windshield while I was in the store. It is still windy now, I can hear it howling off and on.
I posted a few things on one of the Dartmouth free stuff groups on Facebook tonight and I have someone coming to pick up a single bed tomorrow morning. The desk that the former roommate left here will be picked up on Monday. And hopefully the box spring that he left will be gone then as well.
Rain in the forecast for Monday, so I will have lots of time to continue packing and sorting things.
