Living Dangerously

I have a ton of back blips to do - but this morning is so beautiful and there's so much around I'm skipping the back-blip queue just a little.

A millisecond after this image was taken, the spider pounced but the bee was quicker and she escaped by the skin of a grain of pollen.

Whereupon the spider, being a clever little beastie, decided to burrow further under the flowers and hid with just the tips of her little legs showing.
