Charlie
This is Charlie, who is a Warwick student on exchange to Monash. We were introduced over facebook just before I left Warwick, and now that he's arrived in Melbourne we decided to catch up.
Today began stressfully - I literally woke up convinced I wasn't enrolled in the right units to graduate this year. I had been planning on dropping one of my classes anyway, but I decided to enrol in one of the compulsory Sociology units just to make sure. I also registered a course progression check, and thankfully I got it back this afternoon and I'm apparently good to graduate if I pass all my units. (I really should pass all my units.)
As well as the subject stress, I realised I don't have a parking permit, half my classes are actually at the Caulfield campus and I hadn't even realised and I don't actually know how to get to Caulfield or between the campuses. All things I really should have thought of before today. Changing my subject also means that several things I had organised for the next few weeks are suddenly not possible or more difficult.
Oh well, at least I had coffee with Charlie to distract me from my woes. It was really nice to meet him, and to talk to someone from Warwick. We had a wander around the laneways after our coffee, which was cool - they are my favourite part of the city, and it was fun showing them off.
This is literally the only photo I took today so thank goodness it's a nice one! We had to walk for a bit to find a nice spot to take the photo - there was a weird plant thing on the corner of Queen and Little Bourke, so we took it there. I'm pretty pleased with it.
