Fireworks

The eldest had a party this morning so B and I popped into town and had a wagamamas for lunch.  We sat next to a lovely friendly lady who insisted on me trying all of her dishes!!  I did try to refuse but she was having none of it and insisted I try hers!   John was jealous as he was stuck at work. 

B had a friend over to play for dinner and then we all walked down to the firework display with lots of others from their school.  It felt like the whole of the town was out for the fireworks which was nice.  They were pretty but I always feel like they go on for so long.  5 minutes of fireworks would be long enough for me!  And I wish they were quieter.  Lovely walk home in the dark and now a quiet hour before bed.  I played around with the night mode on my phone camera for the fireworks but it's all pot luck as the phone is slow so I have to press the button before the fireworks has gone off and just hope for a lucky photo!
