French lessons

Was privileged to hear & see eighty young (8-18ish) singers of the Paris National Opera Children's Choir perform some astonishing work. It tested my rudimentary french and ability to follow a plot well beyond all limits, but their talent was striking and humbling. (shame about the idiot politician whose hamfisted wibblings demonstrated why cultural exchanges should be left the hell alone by any cooncillor!)

(they were performing at Stirling's Albert Halls as part of their summer tour and the main piece was Ravel's opera L'Enfant et les Sortilèges)
