Mahoney

We used to have this plant growing in the Elie garden but it was so jaggy and hard to prune that we got rid of it. 
Now I enjoy the different stages in the mahoney annual cycle when I see the plants in either Pollok Park, Maxwell Park or the Botanic Gardens.

Very dull, gloomy and really quite chilly today.
