Kenya

We were only in Kenya for two years in the 1970s but it made a big impression on us and of course we have plenty of souvenirs around the house. This little dish is made of soapstone and depicts one of our favourite animals, an elephant.
It is still very gloomy, with heavy cloud but no rain. Today I brought some geraniums indoors for the winter as it is certainly getting cooler
