Oyster Shacks

So here's the plan. It's a beautiful warm evening and I propose dinner at a restaurant with friends on a deck overlooking the oystershacks. These huts are very photogenic as the sun goes down. Just a simple meal, I suggest, so as not to get in the way of my photographic plans , setting up a tripod, exploring for angles, taking a sequence as the sunsets...

Later, at 11 pm we are still eating, there is a bottle of wine to be finished and it is now dark. The others all jeer at me when I talk about setting up my tripod. So the best I can do is to perch the camera on a post and hope for the best.

Next time I will try harder and forego the meal.
