Calendula flowers without sunlight.
The Feast Day of Saint Leo the Great. His status is remembered as Pope and Doctor of the Church.
Born circa 400, in Tuscany Italy. Died 461, Rome, Italy.
Today is mostly cloudy here and a cold 7c. A greenThinsulate hat, big blanket scarf and warm insulated red coat were perfect for today's cold weather.
The orange Calendula flowers are looking closed, because of the lack of sunlight, but their orange vibration is still a joy to see.
Now the central heating has reached 19c in the house, I have turned it off to be careful not to be wasteful of energy and money.
The morning included a walk to Best One shop for the paper. The big Crossword puzzle is excellent on a Saturday and Paul is persevering solving the clues.
The cats have been wonderful, going in and out of the garden.
Most of the Cherry tree leaves are cleared away now, only a few remain attached to the tree.
I listened to online Holy Mass and then prayed the Joyful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary. The Holy Souls in Purgatory benefit from our prayers. Prayers too for Baloo a poor bear in a terrible confined space, in Romania. Prayers for those in despair in Valencia.
Paul shopped and we both unpacked it when he returned.
I continue to crochet and hope to watch , this afternoon, Swallows and Amazons and enjoy some Organic Green Tea. The Water Horse is also on.
Enjoy your Saturday and thank you blip friends for visiting my site today.
