Wind and High Water

The level of the lake is extremely high.  The boardwalk was under water this morning and the jetty in town was all but invisible (see extra). This afternoon I walked out to Waterfall Creek.  The wind had got up and the waves were gouging out the track which was flooding in places.  On the way back I had to climb over a fallen tree to avoid a flood!  Will have to choose high tracks for the next few days at least.  Off for drinks and nibbles with our next door neighbour as it is his birthday today.
