Halfway up the stairs ….

Now at the end of a long day travelling. Tywyn to Birmingham, arriving at 4pm. A support worker took Timmy cat and Ruth to the vets while I unloaded Ruth’s things for a weekend in the flat from the car and loaded some bits she’ll need when she moves on to London on Monday. Jamie arrived by train as Ruth got back from the vets and after a look at the gutted kitchen and a bit of sorting out, Jamie and I set off for my Mums in London. Ruth is ‘roughing it’ at her place for the weekend.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, I was feeling the pace on the journey south, the long day catching up with me. We stopped at services and I had a twenty minute snooze. A restorative snooze! We arrived at Mums at 10pm and found her still awake but not feeling good. An upset tummy which resolved itself rather predictably :-/. At least I was there to help her. Eventually settled at midnight, I’m sitting up in the comfy chair in her bedroom as I blip. I think I will take myself off to bed soon.
