The Lovebirds...

Nothing much to report for today.

D played golf at Leven, I spent a chunk of the afternoon painting this little watercolour sketch as part of our gift for our friends' Keith & Mairi's 30th Wedding Anniversary.  We are going out with them and a group of friends for lunch on Sunday to celebrate.

Made stovies for dinner (always reminds me of my mum who, during winter, on the day she was looking after baby Alan, would have a large pot of stovies simmering on the cooker for D and I getting in from work :-) 

After dinner we settled down to watch the first episode of Until I Kill You, the new drama starring Anna Maxwell Martin (it was aired last week so we're just catching up) based on the true story of the survival of Delia Palmer at the hands of serial killer John Sweeney.  It was a slow start but gripping.  I'm not sure I'll watch the rest of it though as knowing it's a true story makes it a bit too horrifying for me.  An unexpected reaction as I'd been looking forward to it.
