Organ Recital

A view of Broughton St Mary's Parish Church as we approached to attend the Bicentennial Celebration Organ Recital given by well-known organist John Kitchen.

The organ was built in 1882 by Thomas C. Lewis of London, there are two manuals only but they can pack quite a punch., as proved in this varied programme.

The recital was followed by drinks (wine and non-alcoholic) and nibbles, all delicious and free, with a retiring collection.

The main celebration is planned for December 12th, make a note in your diary now.
