Crafting

I was awake about 5 and in the pool by 6.49. It was still dark when I arrived and grey when I left. 

Fed D and B, then Willow and did some domestic stuff, including changing the guest bed. I also tried to do my identity verification for Apex but the programme is rubbish and wouldn't let me complete it. I did, however, finally wrote the closed minute from Oct 15. Felt like I'd achieved a lot. 

Then a ranty phone call with S (both of us) about the intransigence and inefficiency of the Care Inspectorate whose 'one size must fit all' approach is beyond frustrating. 

Then changed and into town to meet L in Café Andaluz for lunch. More tapas. Bought. Christmas T-shirt. 

Some quiet contemplative rest and then TV. Having watched the rest of 'Only Murders' last night I had to fill in with Landward and Gardeners' World before the US election edition of HIGNFY. I also completed the 'recovering the footstool', sewn not tacked. Looks ok. 

We were expecting a reply from Monklands. There were 2 updates but not the answer to the question we asked.
