Friday: Next Book

Today’s job was to take my car over to the garage to get an MoT. As usual, the mechanic was waiting and when I went back about an hour later the car was waiting outside and had no problems so we’re ok for another year! I’ve had the car from new and it was 20 years ago when we bought it.

Whilst my car was at the garage, I’d walked the short distance to the hardware store where I’d got myself 2 pairs of thin gardening gloves - I’ve got lots of potting on to do my gardening gloves are thick and clumsy. Also bought a small plant which might be a Blip over next few days …

Lunch was a takeaway coffee and slice of fruit cake from the garden centre where Margaret and Eileen and I used to meet so often.

MrD on deliveries but had a shorter day than usual.
